New & Old Traditions – Homecoming 2011

St. David High School’s Homecoming, just around the corner on Friday, Oct. 7, will feature both old and new traditions. Come join the fun!

With a generous donation from Apache Nitrogen Products, Inc., the football stadium has been beautifully renovated, and will be formally named “Apache Nitrogen Stadium “ that evening at 6:45 before the football game. New sprinklers prohibit the traditional on-field halftime parade, so come enjoy a new tradition: a parade through campus at 11:15 a.m.

Alumni have organized a Homecoming Fall Boutique, 2:00-6:30 p.m. outside of KHall; come shop!

Volleyball and Football games continue to be a Homecoming tradition. Volleyball games are at 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 vs. Academy of Tucson. Football starts at 7:00 vs. Hayden High School, and the Homecoming King and Queen will be presented at halftime.

FCCLA concessions will be open from 3:30 throughout the games, with lots of yummy choices.

This year’s Homecoming theme: “Be True to Your School.” Go Tigers!
